Vintage handmade needlepoint Asian Foo Dog / Lion art wall decor. The piece features a pair of Foo Dog Lions in a circle against a light blue background and dark blue border that compliments the same dark blue in the circle design. These mythical creatures have a long, rich history, symbolizing prosperity, success, guardianship and protection.
This unique piece of art is secured in a matted gold tone wood frame that features a bamboo design. Framed, the piece measures 10.5" x 10.5". The matting around the interior of the frame is a tan linen like material. NOTE: There is NO glass in the frame.
The art is in great condition - no notable damage - no rips, tears, or stains. The frame is also in great condition, with only some minor signs of wear (there are some tiny chips tried to capture in pictures).
