Offering this rare size and shape woven splint basket with lid. Please see all pictures of this 20 inch high by 14” diameter beauty.  This was purchased in the 1930s from a Cherokee shop in the Great Smoky Mountains, USA.  Unsure if it was made then or previously . I’m the 3rd generation to have it but would like it to go to a collection to be cared for.  It had graced several bedrooms as a lightly used hamper.

Old string repair to lid edge.  The lid is slightly convex / concave.  Always like that in my 70 years of memory. No other damage that I can see. Shipping may be pricy as it will be packed in a 25x17x15 inch box weighing about 5 pounds.  Can be picked up at our shop.
