GARDEN RABBITS

hand crafted, hand painted wood 

Charming old pair of rabbits, hand crafted, hand painted with old matte milk-type paint.  

Simple cut wood bunnies, with details painted on both sides.  A match, but there are obvious hand details that differentiate. 

Each has a small hole at the bottom, for a dowel.  One has a piece of dowel broken off, left for new owner to remove.

These were always in big potted Christmas cactus on a great aunt’s porch.  Dont recommend outdoor use due to their age.  Guessing 1930s-1940s based on estate.

Appx 10” x 4” at the widest, shy of an inch deep
