This is a Chinese porcelain on black lacquer work with the time period's Emperor as the subject.  The frame has gold accents hand painted on.

3ft x 2ft

It really is a fine work of art.

I ordered this from Goodwill, and it was packed without a care in the world. It was loosely wrapped with thin bubble wrap a couple times and thrown in a box full of empty space. Needless to say, it showed up shattered into about 60 pieces after traveling from a SanFransisco location to Atlanta!

Some of the laquer was chipped as well do to the porcelain pieces scraping it.

I collected all the pieces and glued it all back together, and painted some of chipped laquer

You can't really see that it is damaged unless you get close to it. It is currently hanging on a wall at my house.

I'm pretty certain it is late 19th century from what research I have done. The other ones I have seen are going for much more than what I am asking.

Pics should show flaws
