Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, or matcha chawan. It is dark brown almost black, with green speckles and drips. It has a ribbed and grainy texture. This bowl is signed with a stamped mark on the bottom. It is simple, sturdy, and easy to handle.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
