This is an original aceo painting of a Great Blue Heron with a image size of 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". The painting is done in acrylic on gessoed linin canvas. The painting will be signed and dated on the back.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been living and painting for 65 years in West Michigan and I’m a published artist. Most of my art has been reproduced in print form either by myself or a publisher and sold throughout the USA. I am now retired and no longer do shows or exhibits but do mostly commission work. Because my art was reproduced in print form I still have a lot of my originals and I will be putting them on the market. I work primarily in acrylic and watercolor. I have won numerous awards (Best of Show, Peoples Choice, etc.) in regional art shows and international art competitions and have competed in various states duck and trout stamp contests. I have been a finalist in the Michigan Wildlife Artist of the Year competition. I have previously competed in the Ward Museum Best In World Class Carving Championship in Ocean City, Maryland. (I have added carved wildlife to my repertoire) I also paint West Michigan lighthouses, seascapes and animal portraits. I have donated prints to various organizations (Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever) dedicated to raising funds to protect and secure our wetlands and wildlife habitat. I hope my artwork brings attention to the importance of conservation .
