This is a used laptop in fair cosmetic condition with signs of normal use (scrapes, scratches, etc). 

There are a couple of moderate dents on the top case.

There is a faint bright spot on the screen near the middle left. This is primarily visible on white or light-colored backgrounds. It is not very noticeable under normal viewing conditions.

The HDMI port does not work. This is the only reason this laptop is listed as "for parts or not working."

All of the built-in Dell ePSA hardware diagnostics have passed. 

Everything has been thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be fully functional (unless otherwise specified in this listing).

The system BIOS reports the battery health to be "Good".

BatteryInfoView software reports a minimum remaining charge capacity of 31,795 mWh out of the originally-designed 51,000 mWh (61% health remaining). However, no testing has been performed to assess actual useful battery life or discharge rate. Batteries are not guaranteed.

A Dell charger is included.
