Antique Victorian English Majolica “Wild Rose” Pitcher Stoke-on-Trent c.1880s.

The base is a Basketweave up to a Rope border and then each side has a Wild Rose with buds and leaves on a swirling thorny vine.

This rises up to an unusual squared top with Victorian pattern around the top rim.

It measures approximately 7.75” tall by 6.25” from the handle to spout.

It has an excellent patina with a factory line below glaze .

It is distinct Stoke-on-Trent origin detected in the look , the glaze and the below glaze number on the base.
