Our plants are boxed with extreme care so should your plant plugs arrive damaged, please notify us as soon as possible.  A photo of the damaged plant plugs inside the box will be necessary to document the damages so we can file a report with the shipping carrier. The damaged plants will be replaced, substituted or refunded as quickly as possible.

Please verify that temperatures in your area are mild enough for plant plugs before you order.

In order to keep our plants healthy and customers happy we ask that payment is made weekly even if you are continuing to shop.   Paying by Monday ensures that plants arrive by the weekend!

It is very important that plant plugs are removed promptly upon their arrival.  Remember they have been traveling in that dark box for 2 days! Plants left in the box longer than this or in unfavorable weather conditions will deteriorate rapidly. Plugs can be watered in their existing trays while waiting to be "plugged"  into their new pots.

Planting Plugs

You should prepare a hole that is roughly the same size as the plug casing. You will want the existing stem to remain above ground level. This may take some readjustments to the depth of your hole.

If a plug seems hard to remove from the tray, you can help it out by pinching the bottom of the cell holding the plant plug. This should both loosen the plug as well as push the plant upward. Make sure the plant is slightly moist. This should also aid in removal.

After planting, plants may undergo some stress because prior to being "plugged" in their new homes they were kept in a greenhouse and the sun did not shine on them directly. You will need to pay careful attention to their need for water while resisting the urge to over water the plants. Once the roots become established in their new environment, the plant will begin to grow and produce flowers, fruit or vegetables quickly.
