Up for sale is my much loved and much improved Mac Pro 5,1 (mid 2010).

Some may wonder "who's going to buy a 14 year old computer?", to which I say "if you know, you know."

This machine is a powerhouse and crushes intensive tasks thanks to the under the hood upgrades. It's like a Civic with NOS, it's like your grandma on the good stuff, it's like a wolf in sheep's clothing, it's like... well, you get it. There's a lot of life left in this machine and I feel like I took it where I was willing to (though I'm told there are folks who have successfully gotten Sonoma running on this model).

This machine was running 10.14.6 Mojave before the hard drive died.

That's a lot of machine for the price - in fact, I think it's the best bang for the buck you can get. Period.

The unit come packed and shipped particular computer, so you can buy with confidence that this computer will get to you without bent handles or other damage.

There is a $20 handling fee associated with this listing to cover the cost of insurance. I pay some, you pay some.

NOTE: there IS a start up screen due to the video card being flashed. If I am correct, on one card its the DVI port and the other card its the HDMI port.

Model A1289 is in excellent used condition.

Had 2 of these and just didn't need this one any longer.

Original Main Hard drive with hard drive with OS died and was removed so there is no operating system on this machine.

As per pics, this was running Mojave so the Video Cards are METAL.

I was unable to install a new operating system since Apple wouldn't let me download and install as links were unavailable to me and I do not have the time to waste. Not sure why but my loss will be someones gain for this super powerful maxed out machine.

Body has no dents but has typical minor scuffs as happens with age.
