Printed in East Germany by 'Haack Gotha,' East Germany's monopoly publishing house for cartographic school publications (mainly atlases and wall maps).

This map is in exceptional condition for its age. There are no rips or tears, and no stains or major discoloration. The printing is crisp and it has bright color throughout. It is a paper printing adhered to a cloth backing with wooden dowels at top and bottom.

Paper area measurements: 76.25" tall x 61.5" wide

The map has been stored rolled, so it does have some rippling and waviness to the surface (see side photo), some of which will flatten out when hung.

The map will be properly packaged in a sturdy tube for shipping.
