An early 19thC Pearlware sugar box & cover transfer printed with Thomas Rathbone & Co, Portobello, version of the Milkmaid pattern and with the mega flower border that George Haggarty mentions in one of his papers. As you can see in the photos there is damage, chips, staining. (See photos)
