Here for sale is an ALL ORIGINAL rare collectors 1981, Seiko Dolce Tank, Mens Quartz watch, 5931-5450 with a lovely aged textured dial.

This is a Beautiful untouched piece, is fully working and keeping great time having just had a battery change.

During the mid-1980s, Seiko introduced the “Dolce” collection, running parallel to their Grand Quartz line. This line boasted high-precision quartz movements, forming the basis for the modern “Grand Seiko” we are familiar with today.

The Seiko DOLCE collection was the brand's response to the growing demand for stylish and affordable dress watches. Seiko combined high-precision timekeeping with elegant style to create a collection that perfectly represents the sophisticated lifestyles of men and women.

This is small sized mens watch but carries some real elegance when on wrist.

This watch was manufactured in August 1981 and has the super slim, high precision Seiko Quartz 5931 movement which is working beautifully.

As you can see from the pictures the dial work is superb, truly a high end watch back in the day. It has a beautiful textured dial that looks great. You can see how it catches it and changes dependant on the angle you're at.

There is some ageing to the edges of the dial but still looks nice.

The all Gold hands and hour markers have some nice bevelled detail on that looks super classy and give a great look.

The original flat sapphire crystal is perfect with no marks or scratches.

The super slim Tungsten alloy case is only 5.5mm thick.

Tungsten Carbide is a chemical compound containing equal parts of tungsten metal and carbon, it is almost twice as stiff as steel and sits between lead and gold in density. Its a material that super hard to scratch hence this one being immaculate with no marks.

As with all of the Dolce range, the crown has the Onyx stone set inside.

The Gold plated extendable bracelet is also nice. Has some tarnishing in parts but looks good.

A beautiful example for its age. All genuine, nice and tidy, sharp lines.

Originality:

Completely genuine inside and out. UNPOLISHED, un-restored, un-repaired.

Movement:

This is a Quartz 5931 movement. Working perfectly.

Strap:

The watch comes on its original Gold plated Seiko extendable bracelet. Will extend to fit most wrists.
