SUPER RARE Madame Hendren "Georgene Baby" Music Box Composition Doll designed by Georgene Averill in 1936

Georgene Baby (marked on the nape of her neck) from 1936 is a PERFECT size to add to your composition doll nursery at just 17" high.

She retains her original softly stuffed cloth body that is quite clean. Much like the Ideal Princess Beatrix doll, her limbs rotate and drape 'here and there' to give her a variety of poses much like a real baby. Her kapok-stuffed body is SUPER SOFT and cuddly and LIGHTWEIGHT making her a great baby doll for any little girl to cuddle to sleep 'back in the day'.

Her MUSIC BOX winds with a key in her back and plays 'Rock-a-Bye Baby' ... perfect lullaby to fall asleep on a hot summer night.

As there is almost no reference information about this doll available, I am not certain that her clothing is original to her , but it fits her perfectly. Her eyes have clouded over the years, but this , and some paint loss /rubs on top of her head from her bonnet are her only flaws  and I'm sure they can be restored, I am just not talented enough to do it.

Please look at all photos provided (in some of the photos you will see a yellowish green spot and that is a reflection coming through my bedroom window)and request additional photos as needed to determine condition for yourself and as always thanks for looking !
