This Scheurich vase/jug, made in West Germany during the late 20th century, is a beautiful addition to any collection. Its unique lava glazed finish and hand-painted lava glaze make it a standout piece. The vase measures 6.5 inches in height and 4 inches in width, with a lovely red on black spatter textured surface.

The vase is made of clay. It has been fired with a red spatter “lava” textured coating that gives it a lovely 3D look. It is free of chips and or cracks. It has a bit of water staining to the inside rim, probably removable if desired. I did not try. Great shape and marked W.Germany, 414-76 on the bottom.
