Cards are perfect.

The fine print:

PICTURES:
Pictures I use are of the actual card you are bidding on and will receive if won.  Due to time constraints (and the least amount of handling the card the better), many pictures I have taken are of the cards still in the penny sleeves or toploaders.  Therefore, the pictures may show blemishes on the toploader, NOT the card.  I have described the conditions above.  If you would like better/additional pictures, please let me know at least a day before the auction ends.

AUCTIONS with BUY IT NOW OPTION:
It is very rare that I will list a starting price above what the statistical selling mean has been or my own value.  With all due respect, please do not insult me by giving a Buy It Now offer on an auction lower than the starting price.  If I decline without a response or don't answer, yes, you've insulted me!  Don't worry, I'll get over it!  :-)  There are times when I am off on price: please feel free to throw me an offer in those instances.

SHIPPING:
I've had to revise my shipping "experience" already, mainly due to the extraordinary cost of shipping.  ALL cards valued under $30 are $1.00 shipping for the first card, USPS First Class Mail, "Economy Shipping."  I will NOT change the cost of shipping on you unless it is lower OR unless you want me to send Ground, which is $5.00.  First Class ("Economy") will be a no-frills type of packaging: USPS First Class in a business or letter "standard" envelope, without tracking, without extra protection.  Cards with a starting value over $30 (or by your request) will be $5.00.  These will be sent in a 6"x9" manilla envelope with extra protection.  If you have multiple wins, I will either send separately or if the value exceeds $30 I may NOT combine shipping and send Ground and eat the rest of the postage myself.  There are other exceptions: card lots (of approximately 5 or more in the listing) and where insurance will be required, depending on the value.  These will generally be marked on the listings.  *****ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING SHIPPING PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BID!*****

RETURNS:
Please contact me if you are not satisfied or if we disagree about the condition.  I am NOT an expert grader, however, been around long enough that I invariably get the condition to the standards.  I also describe any and every flaw I see on the card.  But, I am human and sometimes I do miss these things.  So, please just contact me so we can discuss and if not so you can return seamlessly.

Welcome to waxandwaxpax!  I'm finally there!  OK, only a few YEARS behind, but starting to completely liquidate my entire collection of, estimated, 1.1 MILLION cards!!!

About me: I am, er, was, a set builder.  All sports.  In order of volume: baseball, football, hockey, basketball, miscellaneous.  So, I have many duplicates (etc.) and cards that I just did not have enough to build a set.  I had high standards regarding conditions, so unless noted, most cards will be excellent to mint.  I have no cards that have been graded, but many that can be and should be easy 10's.

After trying to finish many, many sets and years during the pandemic when everyone seemed to be selling off their collections, I was buying many (way too many) people's collections.  Most I did blindly, without even knowing what was in the collection.  It was more fun that way!  Like, opening up an unopened hobby box--times a hundred!  I finished many, but more I haven't even collated yet.

The bulk of the collection will be from 1985 through 2023.  However, I do have vintage (mostly in lower conditions) and some other memorabilia (i.e. autographs that are not certified.)  I am wanting to sell it all.  I'm at that point where time and age are becoming factors.

So, I will be listing here on eBay a tiny sample of what I have.  For serious inquiries in obtaining it all, contact me.  I will not be fulfilling requests for specific searches.  It's just too much and a relatively small space where they are stored, even though it is generally very organized.  I would only consider breaking it up by sport.  But, that is a conversation to have.

Enjoy the listings and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
