This is a very nice copy of the leather bound, first edition of The Great Outdoors.

It was published in 1947 by Brown & Bigelow, has 376 pages, & filled with great illustrations of wildlife & hunting related items.  

It has gilded page edges.  

It covers the where, when & how of hunting & fishing & includes a dictionary of sportsmen's terms.  

The book was edited by Joe Godfrey, Jr. & Frank Dufresne.  

It is in good overall condition but does have some wear to the leather spine & cover corners.  

On the back cover it is stamped in gold print, Watson Truck & Supply.
