True vintage pantaloons pettipants bloomers are off white or ivory in color with Scalloped seashell motif embroidered applique trim and lace, and chiffon at the legs. The trim is gorgeous. So feminine and a great example of the feminine style women wore during the mid century. These are Nylon with elastic waist. They are labeled Small but vintage sizes run smaller than today's sizes, so please be sure to check measurements below. The legs were tight on my size 6 mannequin.

Condition is true vintage, previously owned, gently and lightly worn. Condition is consistent with age and light, gentle use, careful preservation. No issues were noted. Tag is a bit tattered and I can't read it, and it's on the outside of the waistband...not sure why. Maybe the elastic was turned over and stitched at one time. I've included photos.

Size Small (more like today's Extra Small, XS) and shown on mannequin measuring 24 at the waist and 34 at the hips. It was snug on her legs where the chiffon and lace trim is. (see measurements below)

Measurements were taken with garment laying flat and measured side to side. Please take a few minutes to measure a similar garment you already own that fits you well, and compare those measurements to the measurements given to insure proper fit. Be sure to message me with any questions, as I take the time to measure and post the information for you, so I do not give refunds for items that don't fit.

Waist measures about 8 inches across with elastic not stretched, and stretches to about 15 inches across.

Hips measure about 18 inches across with fabric slightly stretched

Rise is about 11 inches from waistband to crotch seam

Inseam is about 11 inches from crotch seam to edge of lace at hem

Leg measured across top of thigh is about 10 to 11 inches stretching.

Leg measured at lace trim hem is about 8 inches and there is no stretch on the trim.
