THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE BUYING: Here's an outstanding Canon IIF coupled rangefinder camera, made by the Canon Camera Company of Japan in the early 1950s, fitted with a superb interchangeable Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens (in Leica 39mm screw mount), for standard 24 x 36 mm exposures on 35mm film. Such a lovely example, but please look carefully at all the pictures because they are part of the description. Cosmetically it has the usual bits of wear and marks around the chrome that are consistent for a camera that's been used yet never abused over the many years, but still presents in excellent condition. The shutter is sticking at the back end on the slow speeds, but firing strong and consistently on all the fast speeds. The shutter curtains are perfect, the rangefinder is accurate and contrasty, and the film winding is smooth. The lens shows some minor wipe marks on the front glass surface, and there are some minor spots inside, but the optics are otherwise clean for their age, very sharp, plus the focus is smooth and the diaphragm is spotless. A beautiful working camera for both collectors and users. Buy-it-now immediately for only $249, or try to entice me with your own best offer, and shipping is absolutely free within the United States! Thanks for looking, and don't forget to read the payment and shipping information after the pic(s):

WHEN THE SALE ENDS: The buyer will immediately receive an invoice through eBay's automated e-mail notification system, but if you're considering more of my items, you might want to wait to pay until you receive my personalized bundled invoice after all your purchases are chosen. The buyer must prepay in US dollars, and shipping is free within the USA. Worldwide buyers should use eBay's shipping calculator to determine the cost of USPS First Class Mail International to their location for this 2 pound 8 ounce parcel. Please remember, this a vintage used camera, nearly an antique, some 70 years old, not a minty new item fresh from the factory, so there's a chance it could have additional little age related aches or pains I didn't notice, but it's still guaranteed to be as described, and if for some honest and understandable reason you're not satisfied, simply e-mail me first to verify instructions and then return the piece in its original stated condition for a full refund, in compliance with eBay's guidelines, within fourteen (14) days after you receive it. Thanks for looking, and never forget, antique wood and brass and red bellows cameras and brass lenses rock!
