The aluminium design uses Hollowglide technology that reduces weight whilst retaining all the stiffness needed for great gear changes and excellent power transfer. Integrated ramps and pins further ensure that switching sprockets is near-instant, even when under full power. Despite the low weight, the anodising improves durability and adds a smart aesthetic.
