This beautiful bowl is in pristine condition. No marks, chips, or flaws. Shows no signs of even ever being used. I'm actually not sure this is the correct name for this piece, but it seems consistent with other bowls of the same size. Besides the "Haviland France" backstamp, there is another mark, in gold, that looks like the letters N and B with an elongated T in the middle--if I'm reading them correctly; the B could be a 3--hard to tell. There is an underplate with this. In the interest of full disclosure, I can't verify if it is the correct underplate. It seems to be the same as the saucer which pairs with the cream soup bowl, but it works with this bowl as well. This is how the set came to me, so I'm selling them together. Whatever you call this, it's a lovely piece to add to your Haviland collection. Might be called a mayo bowl--not sure of exact description.
