About The Designer

Maison de Fou (French for "Mad House").

The company was active from 1965 until 1970, founded by a Stewardess, Elizabeth Rich, and 2 of her friends. In their short 5 years of production, their handmade pieces were seen in Vogue magazine, and were sold in high-end boutiques and department stores in NYC.

Since every piece of jewelry was handmade they are of exceptional quality, and with limited production. Maison de Fou jewelry is somewhat scarce and highly collectible.
