Mexican Death Mask

This nice, old, Mexican Muerto mask, in the form of a skull, comes from the state of Guerrero. It was probably used inDanza Dia de los Muertos (Dance of the Day of the Dead)a classic dance or procession held, in various forms, all over Mexico on November 2nd. Made of zompantle or pitol wood with animal teeth.
