18th-Century Rouen French hand-painted faience earthenware plate or bowl with fancy pointed edges and decorated with a double crest in the center braced by a wild savage man and a unicorn. Plate measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. Marked on the back with the initials MC. In very good antique condition with wear along the edges from age that you can see in the photos but no cracks or large chips.
