16mm FEATURE FILM: ASTERIX THE GAUL (aka ASTERIX LE GAULOIS)

This is the first animated film based on René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo's comic books following the adventures of Asterix and Obelix and their dog Dogmatix in an alternative version of history, in which Julius Caesar has managed to conquer all of France, save for one small village where the Gauls have stayed safe thanks to a magic potion. 

A Roman camp sends one of their most dim-witted soldiers disguised as a Gaul to Asterix's village, in order to find out the source of their power. This prompts the Romans to kidnap the druid Getafix, who makes the potion, and it's then up to Asterix to find him and bring him back. 

Run time approx 1 hr 5 mins. This is the English dub. Colour is good. Condition is fairly good some minor black lines and some splices during the titles. Ex rental copy, film needs a clean. No VS.
