Apocryphal mark on the heel with six characters: Chenghua.

Decor inspired by Wang Shifu's classic play "The Story of the Western Pavilion" - Romance of the Western.
Two cartridges refer to scenes of romance between Cui Yingying and Zhang, 
The first introducing Cui reading Zhang's message under the watchful eye of her servant; 
On the second cartridge Zhang delivering his message to Cui Yingying, 
another character in the background (a bandit?) is present.
Frieze on the inner lip of four object symbols ''auspicious'', 
In the center at the bottom of the bowl three children playing ball.
Beautiful collector's item, beautiful document and beautiful display item.

Conservation state :

General used condition, the piece has received a restoration museum following an old restoration, 

A clear sliver was glued back on, three hairs were bleached and infiltrated for consolidation, 

two gaps on the lip have been filled,

These reversible operations were entrusted to a professional restorer,
