Description:
A beautiful and colorful map from the Mitchell New General Atlas, published in 1874 by Ziegler & McCurdy of Philadelphia, the map was originally entered in to Congress in 1874. This map has nice original coloring & itself is set within a separately engraved and ornate border, which is unique to only this Ziegler & McCurdy edition - would look tremendous framed! Oh and if desired the map can be split down the center fold to create separate smaller maps of Washington DC & North America.
Condition:
Overall, very good condition. Just some minor staining & minor toning (exactly as pictured!).
