This GALVO is all original as produced
by BERNDT in the 1940's.
It is without modification.
The Berndt Galvo was one of the first successfully made for use early 35mm Single System optical sound newsreel cameras
There were others for certain but Berndt found a unique place in the business
that covered Docs, Commercial, Sports, and other low budget
productions. It is rugged and reliable. The Berndt unit was found in the Mitchell model 35SS, the J.M. Wall, and Akeley Sound Cameras.
