This is a FINE 19TH AMERICAN Old Original Finish FOLK ART DOCUMENT Sewing BOX appears to be mahogany. Includes original attached tray.

THE ENTIRE BOX IS IN EXTREMELY FINE CONDITION.

THE BOX ITSELF ALL ORIGINAL. IT STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL HINGES but missing Key WITH NO REPAIRS.

The original finish shows super patina. There is some minor edge and rim wear as shown in the photos and are added for complete condition disclosure (see photos). It could use a wax which would hide the scratches.

The size is wonderful, it measures 11” x 8” x near 3.5” tall
