Purchased from the Official Stranglers Merchandisers, these are the style used by the great man himself behind the skins. Initially a jazz drummer, Jet had a wonderful ability to fit drum sequences around difficult and unusual timing songs that most drummers would struggle to invent never mind play. Notably on Giants, his last album, he used many different drum sounds, making each track unique and expressing the diversity of his talent. These sticks have seen a few plays by me on my electronic kit, I just had to play with them.

Accompanied by a photo from The Belfast Limelight acoustic gig 10th March 2002 as a bonus. I blagged the guy (bottom left) that I was the bands official photographer. For one song only, I got some great close ups of the band before he asked JJ if I was their photographer. I stood in front of JJ, beside the bouncer, smiled at Mr Burnel, who laughed back, and the bouncer politely ushered me off the floor! Just as well as I was getting the hump with him. JJ that is, the bouncer was a gentleman!
