Theses coaches are unique in being the only Van Hool coaches to be imported into Hong Kong. They were purchased as part of the on-going Citybus program to improve the quality of services operated and also for developing new markets.
There are ten of these coaches in the fleet and they operate on a variety of work including residential services, and private hires. Two of them are also used on express services between Hong Kong and mainland China.
This sharp looking, hard to find 1:76 model, made in 1998, comes with a numbered Limited Edition Certificate Card in a plastic display case and box. There's old glue mark, from the price sticker, on the plastic case. The box shows very minor shelf wear. Please also check out the other Hong Kong Citybus models on my eBay listing.
All my models are kept in a smoke-free and pet-free home. This model has never been out of the box since I bought it except for taking the pictures. It would make a great addition to your diecast bus/Hong Kong Citybus model collection!
