Watch is great condition. Beautiful WWII Flieger watch type B, with a sapphire dome crystal, thermo blued hands, lume indices, big screwdown onion crown, engraved flieger number on side of case, screwdown back case cover with engraving of watch information true to historical design. The PT5000 movement is a mechanical movement with automatic and hand-winding capabilities which beats away at an impressive 28,800 VPH to provide a buttery smooth sweep to the second's hand. The movement has 25 jewels and is 25.6mm in diameter / 4.6mm in height. This specification may seem familiar to you as it is the same specification as the popular ETA 2824-2 movement as well as the Sellita SW200. This is because just like the Sellita this is a twin of the ETA 2824 design. A chronometer is any timepiece with a movement which has undergone and passed accuracy testing by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres to within -4/+6 seconds per day variance.

Beautiful watch, like new condition, alltough this individual watch movement has not been COSC, certified, the PT5000 is a COSC Certified Movement. There are just a few watches from a watchmaker submitted to COSC, for testing, and the PT500 has proven its standing among the best.
