For sale is this vintage early 20th century Koca Nola bottle that was bottled in New London, North Carolina. Found this amongst some items from my late parents home. I’m not too familiar with this brand so I researched it a bit online. Seems the company went bankrupt in 1910 after the feds busted them for using cocaine in their mix. Then completely folded in 1913.

Quote below was found in an online article from the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors:

NORTH CAROLINA: The New London Bottling Works was issued a franchise to sell Koca Nola during 1907-09, but sold it for only a few months, The drink also was sold in Mount Airy for a short time in 1908.

Bottle were blown and not machine made. I assume that’s why you see the bubbling in the bottle. I did not attempt to clean the bottle knowing some collectors prefer it that way. Hopefully someone out there would like to give this bottle a good home to be displayed. I tried to take many photos to show its imperfections. There are no chips on the outside. A section on the bottom area looks chipped but I don’t know if that’s part of the blowing process. I don’t know much about vintage bottles so look over the pictures carefully.

Item sold as is. Thanks for looking.
