1942.  The world was at war.  America was at the movies, and this is one of the films they saw.  Our Gang in "Mighty Lak A Goat."  On the way to school, a wreckless driver sprays mud all over our heroes.  When Froggy invents a special cleaning formula, it gets rid of the stain, but causes an insufferable stink.  Thrown off the bus, the school, and a local movie theater, the boys bury their clothes, leaving them naked and afraid. Spanky, Froggy, Buckwheat, and Bobby Blake star.  Look carefully for an Ava Gardner cameo. 

This original b/w print has the MGM opening, and is mounted on a 400' reel.
