This is a delightful Victorian Era Ring. Its origin is Italian, Rome 1870/1880s. The shank and gallery is 14K Yellow gold and the front is sterling silver. This ring features one oval rose cut diamond in the center it is then surrounded with 8 round rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are all set in sterling silver with a half bezel and two prongs for the halo diamonds, the center is a full bezel. These diamonds have a lot of life in them and catches the sun phenomenally. The diamonds are near colorless with some natural inclusions. They are not perfect but all very well displayed and secure. The estimated total carat weight of all of the diamonds is roughly; 1.2 -1.3 carts total weight +/-. The shank is not hallmarked but tests as 14K solid gold with a sterling silver top and natural earth mined diamonds.
