What a sweet little wooden dresser! 1950s vintage, this little dresser measures almost 6” tall, 8.5” long, and 5” wide (5.25 on the top). There are two drawers, with a small gouged place at the center edge of the top drawer, but not significant enough to detract. There is also a small area on the front of the drawer that appears to have been a label or a small piece of tape; the residue is dry and could probably be removed - I will leave this to the next owner, but it does not, in opinion, distract. There are no other marks or scratches in the wood’s surface, and all joinings are tight.

This dresser did not have a mirror; there are no holes that would indicate the presence of one.

This would have been a mass-manufactured piece for the toy market. I have not been able to find a manufacturer. There is an inked stamp on the back that reads “Geo Thompson Auburn, Mass”. I suspect this might have been either a personal stamp or a retailer; I have tried searching for a manufacturer by the name, but have been unsuccessful thus far.

This is such a lovely little piece, perfect for display with other doll collectibles, or use as a jewelry box on a vintage dresser or dressing table- my favorite use!
