Fantastic antique Fur/Indian trade knife by FP Soligen (which is stamped on the blade) probably second half of the 1800's. The wood handle scales have been wrapped with brass wire at some point with the end pieces held down with brass tacks. It looks like three of the tacks are missing but the wire is still in place but has some loose areas. This knife has a great look to it and would be great in an antique beaded knife case or just alone for your collection.

The total size if approximately 10 3/4" long with the blade extending out from the handle 6". The brass wire does have much patina from handling, age and use.
