An antique hand soldered metal rolling pin the cuts rectangular pieces for biscuits or some other shape. I don't know exactly what it was supposed to cut. It is only 8-5/8 inches long and has serrated rectangular cutting dividers. It rolls in discrete steps of 6 by means of the 6-point stars on each side. Hard to describe just what i does. In good condition with some black paint worn off the wood handles and tin has a dark age patina. This is the strangest rolling pin I've ever seen.
