This is a 3 map set which shows where everyone lived in the City of Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan in 1873. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, these maps are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps, please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homes with owners names in the city of Albion. The first map (first 2 pics) shows sections of the township of Albion along with the Kalamazoo River. The second map (5th & 6th pics) shows the 1st and 2nd wards of the city of Albion as they were laid out at this time. The third map (3rd & 4th pics) shows the 3rd and 4th wards as well.

Please note that much of the area was under development at this time.  Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Sheldon, Chatfield, Silliman, Yost, Hartung, Collins, Allen, Clark, Osborn, Brockway and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
