This is a two map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Clinton, Middlesex County, Connecticut in 1874. These maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment.  They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps! Please contact me with any questions!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Clinton. The first map shows the entire town of Clinton and the second shows the village and or centralized business area of Clinton. Some of the features shown on these maps are Clinton Beach, a section of Hammonasset State Park, Clinton Harbor, Indian River and Indian Lake.

Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Griffin, Higgins, Farnham, Jones, Elliot, Stanton, Smith, Hull, Bushnell, Stannard, King, Buell and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools,  streets, railroads and rivers/streams. This two map matching set  would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!

What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!  Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!  Please check out my other listings for many other fine old town maps!
