A question: Consultation to the different scale of measurement varies the instrument or probe, or to say  "the difference in scale makes the instrument or probe"

Answer: You are right. The probe will be different for different measuring range.For example, we just ordered one for a customer who purchased range 8000um, the diameter of the F probe is much bigger than the diameter of the one shows on the picture which is for range 1000um. The meter itself is different too although they look the same.
