Quicksilver Knitting Needles 7" Double Point
Quicksilver is a premium label from Susan Bates. Quicksilver needles are a soft grey color, a result of a special anodization process which also makes a smooth, glasslike finish for effortless knitting. Needles are packaged in a reusable vinyl pouch.
Personal use note: If you've ever seen powder-coated metal, that's what these remind me of--they're not as slippery as aluminum needles. Rather they have a texture that will keep slippery yarns from sliding too much. So if you have certain yarns that "grab" (similar to light & lofty) you may want to try a plain aluminum needle. But if you're using a slippery yarn or looking for something that doesn't slide as much, these are great. Transfer onto & off of the ends is smooth. Good design, good value.
