Our filter wool is totally aquatic safe, and is not treated with any chemicals, so it will not harm your fish. We have been using this in our tanks and pond for many years with great results. This filter wool works on the principle of electrostatic attraction. This is where the waste particles from your aquarium/pond will stick to the filter wool like a magnet. This method of filtration is very effective at removing waste particles from the water column.

Our filter wool is ideal for use within internal filters, external filters, and pond filters alike. This filter wool can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Simply cut the filter wool to size using scissors.

This item is packaged in a large grip seal bag, which compresses the product slightly, for ease of storage.
