Made of ceramic, they look to be hand painted.

The Man has a black coat and top hat.  The Lady is wearing a fur trimmed coat, hat and muff. 

The Bottom of the lady reads, ""top hat" M.P. T. 1/30/50. 

They Each measure Approximately 3 1/2" d x 7 3/4" High.

  They are in good vintage condition with some wear marks on the man as shown in the photos.
