 I got this cookbook probably 20 years ago as a gift from my aunt. The sections of the cookbook are laid out as dinner party menus. Each party is on a theme, and the book gives the recipe for each food/drink item to be served at the party. The author went out of her way to make each recipe simple and doable, so you can have a well-presented dinner that is still easy to make. Even for individual recipes, like the Southern peach cobbler made with 5 ingredients (one of those being a can of peaches), this is my "go to" book.
