We make this cable using Neutrik connectors and Klotz 1.5mm² 2 Core cable for high quality and robustness. 4 percent silver solder is also used for a strong soldered joint that will out last the cable.

The copper content in this lead is pure 100% unlike cheaper cables that can be a mix of other metals. Copper is one of the best conductors of electrical signal. The result of 100% pure copper is you get better transfer of power especially where audio frequencies draw more current, normally bass frequencies. Where a mix of metals are used within a cable power transfer will be affected. The cable is 1.5mm² 2 core. 1.5mm² is the cross sectional size across one conductor. The general rule is the more copper cross sectional area the better transfer, better response and sound you will get, but it is a weigh up of cost as well. Lead length and speaker impedances also affect power loss across the lead and this should be considered when choosing the correct speaker cable size. We also sell 2.5mm² 2 core Jack to Jack leads.

Neutrik NP2X 1/4" nickel in colour The Jack plugs used on this lead have excellent chuck type cord grip. Better cord grip more reliability. The tip is also machined in one piece which means it goes all the way up tip to the solder connectors without any breaks in between, which is common in many other connectors.
