The lid has two 1/2 inch threads with screw in plugs. There is also a screw in plug for a thermometer if you would like to add one in the future. Thermometer in picture NOT INCLUDED. The Plastic is full 5/16" thick. The plastic resins used are HD-8600 series Escorene linear high density polyethylene. The unit is 38 1/2" tall by 14 3/4" wide.
