Standard kit lengths are 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 inch. But we can make any length you need, JUST ASK.

This is a new 15 wire kit to extend your handlebar switch wiring when changing bars. It has the OEM colors and OEM DEUTSCH electrical terminal pins and sockets to be almost plug and play ready. The kit also includes 1/8” shrink tube for each wire and ½” 2:1 shrink to use as a sleeve. We will continue to try and be your best choice for all wiring needs. Because we actually make the wiring we sell we listen to all our customers needs and try to accommodate them. This kit has the OEM colors and gauge that Harley uses. Others list kits that say all 16 gauge, that does not meet Harley specs, CHECK and see.

This set is for Harleys from 1996-2006 with the cruise only option. It matches the colors of most all FLHR  FLHRC models. To save yourself time check your colors before buying, we can make all kinds of changes to meet your needs

SPECIAL NOTE: NO ONE SELLS EXTENSION KITS THAT COME WITH WIRES TO EXTEND THE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS, THEY COME WITH THE WIRES THAT CONTROL THE LIGHTS INSIDE SWITCH HOUSING BUT NOT THE WIRES THAT GO TO THE LIGHTS THEMSELVES. WE SELL TURN SIGNAL KITS SEPARATELY.

NOTE:

Some models use a red/blue instead of the red/yellow, check your colors because we can swap colors, just ask

Also there are cases of a red/brown being used again check your colors and we will fit your needs

And also, on some SE models the Black changes to Black /Green ***(just use the Black). Or ask and we will swap colors.

A brief description on how this kit works is that you first remove the bars you are replacing by disconnecting the electrical plug at the main harness usually in the neck frame or if you have a fairing then inside it. Then remove the electrical pins/sockets from your electrical connectors

( MAKE A DRAWING OF THE COLOR LOCATIONS FIRST ). Next remove the wires from inside the bars. Now take the wires from the kit and match them up with your wires, push them together to hold them in place then place and shrink the wrap around each individual wire. Run the now longer wires back through the new bars or outside the bars depending on your needs. Next connect the pins/sockets back into your electrical connector (if this kit comes with them) and plug it back into the main harness. If you are running them outside the bars then you can slide PVC, shrink, stainless, copper or any type sleeve over the wires before you connect them. Note that disconnecting and reconnecting the small electrical pins and sockets inside the electrical connectors is not very difficult but takes a little patience, search online for directions and read up on how to do this first and then take your time. IF YOU DO NOT THINK YOU CAN PERFORM THE ABOVE TASKS THEN IT IS BEST TO HAVE A PROFESSIONAL DO THE INSTALLATION. Connecting the colors wrong would cause all kinds of problems.

ALL OF OUR KITS ARE MADE FROM 18 GA GXL WIRE OR BETTER.

Our kits are by far some of the easiest to install. And we will assist you in any way we can. Even after the sale, unlike those who only sell the kits supplied by others.

Beware, some other sellers selling kits do not include all the wires in there full sets and that you would have to buy two sets to get one full set. Our full 24,25 and 26 wire extension kits include all the wires for a Harley radio, cruise control and PTT/CB. Plus we can also make and include extensions for turn signals, additional lighting (silver bullets) and other custom options. Just ask and we can price it and invoice it out for you.

Please as with all electrical work disconnect the power source or battery.

Also hot oil can burn, let your bike cool down before working on oil lines.
