1957 Polaroid Model 80A Highlander Land Camera

As new with the original box but lacking instruction manual.  It Polaroid Model 80A (Highlander): Made 1957-59 and is the second in the Model 80 series of cameras. Very similar to the Model 80 except that the exposure is now set by Polaroid's standard EV (Exposure Value) scale system. Instead of using traditional f/ stop names (f/8, f/11, f/16, etc.) each f/ stop opening was assigned a number. Thus the shutter is marked using the EV system.  

These cameras were beautifully made and represent the beginning of an important era in the history of photography that lasted nearly half a century.
