5 Bolt Kodiak Trailer Slip On Disc Brake Set w/ Hubs 10" ALL Dacromet Finish
Item Description
This is a great disc brake set manufactured by Kodiak. This is one of their 5 bolt 3500lb capacity disc brake kits. This particular brake kit has dacromet coated rotors and mounting brackets but is paired with their DACROMET calipers. This is Kodiak's part # 2/RCM-10-DAC. This kit is designed to fit on 3500lb capacity axles using the standard 4 bolt brake flange. This trailer disc brake kit comes with (2) 5 bolt Hot Dipped Galvanized idler hubs and will fit with 14 inch or larger wheels. This slip-on style rotor is great b/c your hub and rotor are separate pieces. Which means you can replace them independently of each other. This means if you get broken down on the side of the road b/c of a bearing failure you can replace your broken hub that are commonly available and still re-use your Kodiak rotor. You must have 14" or larger wheels to use with this kit. Using Kodiak's slip on brake set will add about a 1/2" of overall length to your axle. This means that your tires and wheels will sit about 1/4" out further on each side.

(2) 5 bolt Galvanize hubs with inner and outer bearings with seals and
(2) Dacromet coated 10 inch vented rotors. The vented rotors help dissipate heat quickly.

(2) Calipers that are DACROMET COATED inside and out except for the brass fittings where your brake lines run in. The brake pads are made of ceramic so that they will not rust and are red steel backed. The calipers ride on
(4) Stainless steel caliper mounting bolts. An installation and instruction manual is also provided.
Kodiak offers a 3 year warranty on all of their Dacromet coated parts and a 6 year warranty on the ceramic brake pads against separation.
